Hey Brandi,
Pepe's first snow. We have officially moved back to NY. Pepe was in NY for the
snopocalypse of 2010, and really enjoyed it! I was in NM, but he was spending time with my
mom and his uncle Pace (mom's chihuahua mix). I got home 2 days after the snow, and let me
tell you he just loves playing in the snow. He is only just over 5 pounds so he can
actually walk on top of the snow. This is him standing on about 12-16 inches of snow. Hope
you guys had happy holidays, and have a great new year!

Hi Brandi & Mike,
As you can see Buddy (AKA Ash) is settling in nicely. He's a ball of energy!
"No sweaters this year, or eau de cologne.
Our Christmas gift is our new Papillon.
Training our pup has been a bit of a wrench,
Mostly, that is, 'cause he only speaks French.
He hears everything and thinks food is delicious-
His ears are so big they're like satellite dishes."
Thank you again for the wonderful Christmas present!

Hi Brandi,
Happy (Spyro) keeps getting more and more hilarious with each passing month. I think he's
really starting to look like his Dad now that his coat is coming in. Thanks again for a
wonderful dog. Let me know if you ever breed Yodah & Fuzzy again. You really do have
great dogs. Happy has the most personality of any dog I've ever owned. He is so smart and
has the cutest ways. He's my little shadow and buddy.
Happy Holiday,

Thanks for the Dog Registration Application. Snowflake is recovered from surgery and is
doing wonderful. We are so happy to have her with us. She makes us smile and laugh many
times a day. She is doing great with Art and he loves her a lot! Her fur/hair is growing
and she is a lovely pet. We wish you and all the doggies a wonderful Christmas and a happy
New year. Big kiss from Snowflake "Katie" and a paw from Pickwick the Scottie.

Hi Brandi and Mike,
Just thought I would give you an update on Asia. First, I should mention that Lori has
renamed Asia. Her new name is Star. As in, Once Upon A Star. This name has significance to
Lori because the name relates to her first little Papillon, Dream. Also, she's the Star of
the show! And because of the Season in which she came to our home, we consider her our own
little Christmas Star. She is such a joy, I can't tell you how much we had missed the
click click sound of little paws around the house! She is such a good little pup, and well
behaved too! And she is *very* intelligent. When you look into those precious little eyes,
you can just see the gears turning! Y'all do a great job of raising intelligent, well
adjusted dogs. Can you tell I'm excited? We are so happy to have her as a part of our
little family. Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year to you and yours!
Sincerely,

Hey Brandi,
Patricia is working with me and Skippy and will be working with him at her home this week
while we are at Disney. She is a trainer and has a class and has taken him to class to
work around distractions. Just thought you would like to hear the comments from Patricia.
"Skippy is doing well. He works fairly well amidst the distractions of other dogs. He
gives pretty good attention, but his attention when alone is great! He has almost mastered
the 'roll over' command and is pretty good at 'spin'. He is getting really good at going
into his crate on command. We continue to work on his basics... sit, down, stay, come,
heel, leash walking. And have added close, front, and distant sit. With stay, he is up to
about 2 minutes with mild distractions. Overall, I would say pretty good!"

Hello Brandi!
I hope all is well with you and your family. I'm writing to tell you how Goji is doing...
he's gained a whole pound since coming to us! He's been doing much better with pottying
outside. We ended up getting a plastic storage container with high walls to use as his
litter box. We cut out a square on one side so he can step over the edge. I've included
some pictures from a tree lighting ceremony in a local park. Goji is such a people
person... he just loves everyone, as you can see. He also loves all other dogs, which
makes me nervous sometimes... he tries to make friends with the big dogs when we're
shopping at Petsmart, and all I can think is "That dog looks at you like a
snack!" But he has yet to get himself in trouble with another dog. I keep a very
close eye on him. His best friend is a 5 month old English bulldog in his puppy training
class. Lil' Bob is only a month older, but already twice as big as Goji! They play
together so well though... Lil' Bob is very gentle with him. Next time I write you I'll
have get you a picture of him in his little raincoat. It's been raining pretty heavily
here the past few weeks, and poor Goji was just miserable in the cold and wet. Of course,
as soon as I bought the coat it cleared up and I've had yet to need it... but it's always
good to have just in case. And he looks so adorable in it! Lately it's been pretty cold in
the morning, and Goji has been shivering on his walks. I know papillons are pretty
adaptable, but we think we're going to get him a coat for the winter... he is still a
puppy, after all. And he'll need it this Christmas... we'll be driving up to Indiana to
visit family. Goji does such a good job in the car we've decided to take him with us. We
just can't stand the idea of being separated from him. It will be his first experience
with snow! My family can't wait to meet him either. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, and
I'll be sure to send photos from his first snow romp as soon as we have them!
Warm regards,
Lindsay

Hi Brandi,
Thought you might like to see a video of Andrea running Desi for me at the biggest agility
show on the east coast in West Springfield, Mass over the Thanksgiving weekend. Desi
really responds to her animated style of handling and she's able to shave a few seconds
off his average course time. I guess I'm a little boring although we are only 2 QQ's away
from a MACH 2 title. We managed to rack up that many QQ's since his MACH 1 on July 4th
weekend. He's such a good boy.

Hey Brandi,
Here are some updated Pictures of Skippy. He is about 6 months old. Still a ball of
energy. Beginning our serious training now. He will do well! He is my ADD child for sure!
He is literally a Canine Butterfly! He and little Dunkin are doing well together. He is so
glad to have a playmate and is learning to be more gentle with his Tiny little brother.
Dunkin weighs about 4 pounds, but rules the roost. Skippy thinks he is hilarious! Hope you
had a great Thanksgiving and Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas!!

Hi Brandi,
We wanted to give you an update on Shamus (aka Braylor's Lil Bottle Rocket). He turned 1
year old in Sept and has grown into the most gorgeous dog ever! My husband is his
"personal groomer" and Shamus loves taking a bath and getting his hair fluffed
with the blow dryer. He sits on the table like a prince being pampered. The fringe in his
ears is long and silky, just like his coat. He's still in agility (doing great) and I
think we might try flyball, too. He likes to zoom around the backyard with his tail held
high like a flag. Plus, you can tell by the twinkle in his eye that he is always up to
something. We love him so much, and can't imagine life without him.

Brandi and Mike,
I wanted to send you a picture of Lexie to show you just how beautiful a little girl she
is turning out to be. Her coloring is gorgeous and I can see her "Big Girl" hair
and fringes are coming in now. This picture is from my I-Phone as we were getting ready
for bed. I thought she looked so pretty and just had to share it with you. I have taken
her to shows and class where people have commented on how cute, adorable and stunning she
is. During the Agility Trials she has done well with the people and noise and rests very
nicely in her tent until I get back from the ring ... She is also fully pad trained at
home and only took 2 weeks ... such a quick little study! Lexie is my first Papillion and
she is soooo funny with her what I call "Happy Pappy Dance" spinning in circles
tossing her toys in the air! She loves to play ... especially chase the ball, and is
always ready to go when she hears my keys. She is very smart and learns quickly. We are
currently taking Obedience and Beginner/Puppy Agility Classes and it's apparent that she
loves the Agility, but I think she finds Obedience rather boring. She does the sit, heal,
and down commands but at the same time she is always busy looking over her shoulder and
around at everyone, the dogs, the door and what's going on in the other ring, etc. .... so
I think developing focus is going to be our main hurtle. However, when in Agility class or
if you have a treat ... you have her undivided attention! :-) Again just wanted to share
this picture with you and let you know how she is doing. Thanks again for such a beautiful
little girl! She is such a joy and delight ... although I'm not sure Tamieca is yet
convinced of that as Lexie always wants to play! LOL :-)

Brandi and Mike,
Just a few photos of my pal Louis (formerly Wally) for Halloween. He's full of spunk and
energy, but so loving! Now that the weather is colder he sneaks under the covers with me,
little cheater. He and Anya have become best buds (even though I doubt Anya would admit
that to her kitty friends lol). Their favorite sleeping spot is together on my lap, which
is so great in the evening, and they play chase all the time. I tried this bug costume on
in the store and he barely noticed when I put it on, so I just let him wear it home. I
swear he's just like an eight year old, full of questions and eager to explore, but still
glued to his mom. I absolutely love how adorable he looks. He's been picked up by dozens
of people, and not one has been able to resist kissing him. Love my little guy!

LeeAnn (owner of Trek and agility judge) is here in Florida visiting with niece, Arden.
Here's what she had to say about her, "What a wonderful opportunity it has been to
spend the weekend with Bobbie and the girls! The baby dog is a rock star - Trek would be
quite proud of the baby girl! She's absolutely wonderful!!!!! I expect you'll all be
hearing much, much, much more from Bobbie as she 'gushes' about her new Braylor's darling!
Oh the prance on that little girlie is just lovely to watch! She's just got to be the

Brandi,
Just wanted to send a few new pictures of Fuzzbuster and his friends, Cowgirl and Nick. He
is really enjoying the patio and back yard. Loves his squeek toys, and really likes to
pick them out of a big pile by himself. He really takes his time choosing, and plays with
quite a variety of different toys. Cowgirl is doing well, and seems very happy to have
another dog her size to hang with. Nick is his usual mellow self, and really enjoys his
pack of little friends. These three get along wonderfully, and its truly a joy to live
with them all. Thanks for trusting me with Fuzzy. Enjoy the pictures. (By the way, Fuzzy
is Dracula for Halloween)
Talk to you soon.

Brandi,
Our cat, Darjeeling, actually climbed into the playpen with Archer and sat outside his
kennel a little earlier. Archer got up and moved forward to sniff noses with her.
Darjeeling didn't seem threatened, only curious. I think she recognizes he's still a baby,
which bodes well for their friendship. I'm so happy she seems to like him! Just in case
though, I've clipped her nails short. I also thought you'd like these picture of Archer...
we've renamed him Goji. He loves snuggling up with us :) And for some reason, whenever we
approach him in his playpen he jumps into his litter box and looks up at us with his tail
wagging! Silly Goji :)

Hello Brandi and Mike,
Hopefully this pic will come through.... not so good at the pic thing. I will have to get
lessons from my kids. I love this one though. Arrow, aka.... Braylor's Born To Be A Rebel
(Rebel) .. is a perfect Born boy!! Loves balls and fetching anything that moves!! He
manages to carry this ball around by the laces....Such a doll! The ride home was fine,
very little whining although he did get car sick once but bounced right back when we got
home. He has been eating and drinking fine. I think we are on the up swing for the kennel.
Wow!!! he can put up a ruckus!! He likes the laundry room much better than the kennel but
we will continue working on both. He is doing very well on house training I feel.
Certainly lets us know when he needs to go potty....so smart and funny.... doing great
with all the kids, animals and activity!! I will send a couple of other pictures separate
because I don't know how to do them together. You know what they say a pic is worth a
thousand words.... You will see what i mean.... my husband is totally enthralled!! He is
hooked.... Caught him double checking to be sure I put enough bedding down in the laundry
room last night ;) Can't wait to get home and see the baby....
Thanks so much for the awesome little guy.

Hi Brandi,
Well, it's been quite a while since we've updated you on our little CoCo! (formerly
Avanti) Here is a picture from her 2nd birthday back in June! Can't believe we've had her
with us for exactly 2 years now! We are finally getting married next June, and although
the church won't allow dogs inside, we are having the florist make her a little collar out
of tiny rosebuds and are going to have her there to take pictures with us! We are also
bringing her along to be in some engagement pictures as well! People laugh when we tell
them that....but they just don't understand how much we LOVE her. We will definitely have
to send you some pictures from it! We just have to tell you that from time to time, we
will run into other people with papillons while out taking her for a walk, and every
single time, they always comment on how much prettier Coco is than their own!! It's almost
embarrassing how much prettier she is than others!! We just love love LOVE her to death!!
She even sleeps with us at night with her head on one of our pillows at all times! We
can't wait to see what joy she brings to our lives in this 3rd year with us! Thank you so
much for our wonderful little baby girl!!!

Brandi,
Mia's been up to a lot lately. She graduated Intro and beginner's agility 1 and is going
to start Level 2 in a few weeks. She's also been taking obedience classes and just
finished a CGC class. Her test is actually tomorrow and I am very nervous! She's passed
her mock CGC exam but you just never know what the real test will hold. Either way, CGC
and obedience class has done a lot to help her focus and her obedience. Mia is a character
and though she is very driven and smart she tends to think she knows better than me. She
is definitely a challenge to work with compared to my other papillon, but it makes things
infinitely more fun. With her I feel like you really have to work on your relationship in
order to get her to work for you. She will not perform for any handler but me. When she is
on in agility though, she is incredible. I think with maturity and as I gain more skill in
handling, she will be a great little sports dog. Yesterday I took Mia to the local animal
shelter's fundraiser dachshund races. Mia ran in the non-dachshund category and won her
heat (my other pap, Summer, came in dead last in her heat). Mia ended up advancing to the
finals, where she got a little distracted and finished third. I was very pleased though,
she had a load of fun running and was sooooo into it. When I would load her in the gate,
she'd go crazy barking and slamming the gate with her paws. And she ran so fast, just
grinning the whole way. She ended up winning a pink tennis ball, which made her very
happy. She is still just the most incredible dog I've ever known. She makes lots of
friends and admirers with her spitfire little attitude. I can't wait to do more with her!

Brandi,
Im attaching Fuzzys score sheet and Certificate for his Basic Obedience class.
I was very proud of him. He works so hard to be a good boy, its really fun to train him.
Also am including some pictures of him and Cowgirl here at work, and of course a picture
of him in his cap and gown the cap pissed him off royally! Can you tell by the look
on his face? Frank and I are really enjoying our small boy. Frank calls him Ricochet
Rabbit because he flies through the house and bounces off the couch headed in a new
direction each time. Hes really muscled up, and now Cowgirl has to work to keep up
with HIM! We are hoping to get enough interest in this trainers beginning Agility
class to take that one next. Ill let you know. Meanwhile, thanks so much for sending
me such a sweetheart. Ive owned dogs my whole life, and Ive NEVER had a dog so
happy and willing to please as the Fuzzman. Ill always love Cowgirl, because I like
pushy little bitches, but Fuzzy just steals your heart! BWT, if you have any pictures of
the puppy you kept out of him that you like so well, Id love to see them.
Thanks again,

Hi Brandi & Mike,
This past weekend was the Blessing of the Animals at Church we had a
terrific turnout with lots of pets including a giant tortoise!!!! The Boys
were blessed and then treats were passed around the weather was perfect and it was
a wonderful afternoon. Titus is adapting to the new arrival he has not relinquished
his rank as Alpha dog and Sting is very respectful - even though Sting is now clearly
larger than Titus. Sometimes Titus will be sitting on my lap and Sting will be running
around thrashing one of his toys from side to side, and Titus will look at me as if to say
Wow , was I ever like that??? and then we will just smile at each
other.

Hi Brandi and Mike,
We have a new addition to the family - Sting is a 5 month old Pyrenean Shepherd - he is
sitting here with Oscar who will be 14 and Titus - Sting will be about 25 lbs and jump
16" - we are doing a lot of obedience work right now and he is an apt pupil. Titus is
still "King" and I try and make sure that he knows that - I am using a lot of
the principles from "Ruff Love" with Sting , that I did not use with Titus -
Titus is the only one that sleeps on the pillow next to my head!!!! We have had a really
hot summer, and the last Trial was outdoors and with out cover - I was so proud of Titus
that even in those conditions he could have good speed - his focus is superb now - I do
not worry at all about him doing a course no matter how difficult - the only mistakes made
are mine - he can enter the weave poles correctly from any angle as long as I stay out of
his way . We have 3 Q's toward our MXJ so our goal would be to get the MX and the MXJ in
2011 . Hope you had a great summer.

Arden is recovering from her spay very well. Wanted you to know she earned her S.T.A.R.
puppy title from AKC when she graduated from puppy kindergarten. When they send her
certificate i will get a picture. Arden is a very nice dog - I took her with me to the
agility trial last weekend and she was pleasant to people and dogs alike - the action on
the field got her excitement - I think she wants to go play! She is learning to be a
judges dog, waited in her crate for someone to come play with her when we were up in Ohio
a few weeks ago - and she travels like a pro.I have sent a picture of her that another pap
owner took of her in Ohio. She found a pack of paps in Toledo to play with!
She is a wonderful addition to my pack. Thank you!

Hi Brandi,
Here is Pepe posing like a supermodel in San Miguel de Allende. He wasn't a fan of
standing on the fountain cause he was getting sprinkled with water from the wind but he
was a good boy and stood still for his photos.

Hi Brandi,
Here is a picture of Pepe playing with the big boys! His buddy casper got all dirty, and
Pepe decided to show off how fast he is. This was taken in Queretaro. You can see how long
the fur on his tail is getting and he is only 5 months old!

Hi Brandi,
I knew you guys would get a kick out if this picture. Baby Jake and Mitsi are bonding.
It's funny how she's in the background watching. Everyone needs 2 Papillons running around
in the house. It's so wonderful to have Baby Jake. He's so full of energy and I love to
hear him bark. It's so cute!! Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Hi Brandi,
Some of our Playdate photos with Ken and Carolyn. Left to right: Miley, Harry and Lola.
Miley carries that tail over her back like she is royalty! She is quite the diva, whines
and pouts when she is unhappy with our behavior. Throws antlers on the hardwood floor
forcefully for a big bang noise to communicate her message of "I'm talking to
you"!

Hi Brandi,
I wanted to tell you about Buddy's big day! Buddy was feeling well today very
restless in the early morning hours before the alarm went off . Jim stayed home with
him as he wasnt doing so well after everyone was up and going this morning. Jim made
an appointment at the vet. Couldnt get in till 3:30 Jim sat with him on
his lap all day in the lazy boy. At the vet .on Buds x-ray it appeared that
Buddy had swallowed a penny. Jim left him there for possible extraction through snorkel
down his throat, but we were notified later this evening they had to go ahead and do
surgery. 2 dimes were found. I have never had a pup do such a thing ..Buddy is living
up to the Papillon reputation .for eating anything he sees. We are feeling very sad
for him, but he's home and doing well.....and the vet gave him two dimes to bring home
too!! Yum Yum!! See his pretty pink bandage. Winston said he missed Buddy......kinda!
Otherwise Duchess and Winston are doing well ..and they wanted all of Buddys
treats while he was gone! J
Many paw hugs,

Hi Brandi,
One year to the day I went to your house and picked up a tricolor bundle of spunk. It is
hard to believe how fast time flies... it feels like she should still be a 4 month old
puppy! Mia is such a great dog and such a joy to have. She has fans all over. People just
fall in love with her spunk. She is truly a dog that is unlike any other I've ever had.
She's just perfect and I'm so lucky to have her. We are on our third week of agility
classes and Mia is the star. She's the only toy sized dog in her class. In fact she's the
only dog under about 60 lbs. She's doing great! She picks up every obstacle in one run.
The only problem we're having is she doesn't want to stop. Once she found out cookies were
involved, she just wanted to keep on going. She has a lot of drive (we're still working on
focus). She is a class favorite and more than keeps up with the big dogs. Summer and I are
working in advanced classes and hopefully I'll be trialing with her soon. I can't wait to
get Mia more involved, she has so much potential. I only hope I'm a good enough handler
for a dog like her. ;) Anyways, just bragging on my crazy little girl. I'm still missing
my good camera but here's some pics from my little camera from some hiking we've done.

Hi Brandi,
Coolest Dog I have Ever Had! "Skippy John" (previously Tyler) is officially his
Name. It fits him. Every time I call his name, he stops what he is doing and immediately
races to me, so excited to hear me call! He is like, YIPPEE! She called me! LOVING THIS
LITTLE GUY! I've started teaching him to sit today. Is going well but this little guy came
with springs in his bottom! LOL!

Hi Brandi,
We wanted to give you an update on Shamus. He just finished his first obedience class. He
was the smallest dog there. You can see by the picture why the class voted him
"happiest dog" and "biggest ears!". He also is doing agility now and
LOVES it. His nickname in agility is "Bitty Baby Border Collie" he learned all
the obstacles so quickly and moved up to a more advanced class (which is mostly border
collies). His idols are Titus, Trek and Blast and he hopes to be like them someday. He'll
turn a year next month. He is such the perfect dog for our family. We love him so much.

Hi Brandi,
Wanted to send you a 4 mo picture of Pepe (formerly Tazer) and give you a little update.
We have been taking plenty of walks and he is quite funny because he tends to just walk up
to strangers and look at them with his why aren't you petting me face. All of my friends
adore him! I find walks to be amazing because afterwards he just wants to cuddle up and
sleep (which is a nice reprieve from the crazy puppy mode). He has a couple of tricks that
he does pretty well. Sit is the best, but he also does down, and sometimes will come if I
say here, we are working on give so we can really play fetch, and he taught me one with
crawl (really is the cutest thing ever!!).

showing him off in Rally. Here are a few pics I took this morning. Tyler (now "Skippy
John") has made himself at home. We LOVE this little guy! Thanks for everything

Brandi,
He did very well last night and I didn't hear him after the initial 5 minute whining. He
did potty during the night in his pan. LOVING the litter pan!! I am definitely seeing the
intelligence and agility already. Natural heeler he is! Also I am seeing potential for
tricks that he is doing naturally. He is going to be fun! He is very excited when the kids
come over. I have already had to teach him 'no" around the toddler and he was quick
to learn. Now he just follows her around with his little prancing self without jumping on
her and pulling on her clothes. Proud of how quickly he catches on! I am telling you he is
handling every situation like a trooper! and yes, I could certainly see him prancing
around with his proud self in the show ring. Very nice puppy for sure! I have shown in the
past and showed a Gordon to his championship and handled him mostly myself. Even taking a
second in Group when he was very young. So I know a little about showing. Just never had
time to put my all into it like you true show people! I have watched Paps in the show ring
and have always known that some day I would have one. Still thinking on a name. I like
Ollie but my 4 year old Granddaughter has tagged him with "Skippy John Jones".
He is looking like a Skippy John. It really fits him! Still deciding. Thanks so much for
this little guy!

Brandi,
Tyler has hit the ground running! We got home and set him up in his pack and play but he
was ready to play and visit. We have let him set his own pace. He is happy with his tail
wagging and kissing everyone. Playing with his toys and even fetching the ball. He is a
little spit fire!! He is eating. I did have to hand feed him at first but he is eating and
drinking fine. He has used the litter pan and has done well with that. He has met my
Cavalier and they hit is off. Polo thinks he is a little toy. Honestly he is wide open. We
have given him quiet time and he has rested today. Stools are solid and in the litter pan!
He was a little timid when we first met him at the Airport, but once we got in the car and
I held him and talked to him, it was all kisses and a wagging tail. I did
"cheat" and let him ride with me for a while to get oriented. But most of the
way he rode in his carrier. He is resting well now. Is almost like a toddler, we just had
to make him take a nap! The only way I have been able to get him to rest has been to take
him out of the pack and play and put him in his carrier and leave him in my room. That is
where he is sleeping now. I am making sure he has plenty to eat and drink so no worries. I
LOVE HIM!!! LOVE his personality plus! He has met the kids and LOVES them. I know it
sounds like he has done a lot today but it has been at his pace and he has just been a
happy little spit fire from the time he walked in the door. No problems adjusting. Has
explored the house and has been for a walk in the yard. He just ran and played the whole
time. I couldn't be more pleased with him! Thanks so much!!! Have taken pics.

Brandi,
Wally got here safe and sound. He was quit shaky at first, but only took a minute or so to
start tail wagging and licking my hands a bunch. He is so sweet and such a ham already! He
is such an incredible little boy! He only peed in his crate once the entire journey from
you to me. As soon as he got home, he did #1 and #2 in the litter pan and started
frolicking around like he's lived here his whole life. He played with me and his toys for
hours before finally collapsing next to me to sleep. He's only known my a few hours and
already follows me everywhere I go in the house. His relationship with the cats will build
eventually, but he has started bonding and settling in less than a day! He had used the
litter pan a few times and had no trouble eating dinner. I thank you again for all the
care and devotion you put into your pups. It certainly shows in the wonderful little boy
sleeping on my feet.

Hi Brandi,
I just wanted to send you a quick note and let you know that I am incredibly happy with
Pepe (Formerly Tazer). He is a crazy ball of energy which can get tiring but he is also
the cutest puppy ever. He really is starting to settle in now which is nice to see. Your
litter training method is incredible, he has free range of my relatively small kitchen
here in Mexico while I am at work and he almost always goes on the paper. If he is
relaxing with me in the house he goes to the door to let me know he needs to go bathroom,
and this is without any training by me in fact he trained me the first time he went to the
door and all I could think is what is he doing. Needless to say I learned fast! We are
working on sit for now and even though his energy levels make keeping focus hard he seems
to be picking it up very fast. 3 days in and he already seems to get it 30-50% of the
time. I will say you made a great choice based on what I told you I was looking for. His
coloring is going to be amazing, he gets lighter every day, and he really is the puppy who
will play with anyone. In fact I am starting to get a little jealous with how easily he
goes to other people. I am including a few pictures from a photo shoot we had a few days
after we got back to Mexico. I can't wait to see what his coloring turns out to be.
Thanks so much for everything!

Hi Brandi,
Pete/Caleb is doing great. Everyone and I do mean everyone, who meets him immediately says
"Oh, he's so adorable!" Very true. He makes me laugh about ten times a day. He
is a little rip, and very comical, yet so elegant and graceful. We are enjoying him
immensely.
This was in April on vacation. The water off Nantucket, MA is not warm that time of year!
I cannot imagine what made him decide to go in after the girls on the kyaak. He milked it
for all it was worth afterwards as you can see from the other pictures.

I know it's been a while since I sent pictures of Miss Mia. She's something else, always
keeping me on my toes (in a good way). I can't remember what life was like without this

never seen a dog go so hard after a tennis ball before. I think she would be happy if we
played fetch all day long. We've been up visiting the extended family. I think Mia's
enjoying having more papillons to play with. She and Summer are pretty inseparable though.
It's hard to believe she's already 15 months old! I can't say enough good things about
her. She is just the smartest dog I've ever owned. She is constantly surprising me with
her silly antics. And she's very sweet and very much a mama's girl. And I have to add, I

Dear Brandi and Mike,
Titus earned his AXJ - Excellent A Jumpers - over the Memorial Day weekend. I chose this
picture out of many, for Brandi, so she could see just how huge his ears are !!!!!! I am
so proud him. He is a truly amazing agility partner fast and true. I have learned
to be more consistent with my signals and I try and keep my verbal commands to a minimum
since Titus is very tuned in to where I am on the course. One of the Judges came up to me
at the Trial and told me what an awesome dog Titus is [ of course we already knew that ].
In addition to calling him Titus I have nicknamed him Happy
because he always looks like he is smiling. We have several trips planned this summer
our first journey in July, will be to a 4 day Agility Trial in Perry, GA - indoors
and air conditioned!!!! We will keep you posted as we work our way up the Agility ladder.

Hey Brandi and Mike-
My little Master-Blaster earned his Rally Novice title this weekend at the Toy Dog
Specialty. As soon as the pictures come, I'll send you some. He earned a 1st and a 2nd, he
would've earned another placement, if I didn't mess up the station and lose 10 of the 11
points he lost. He also went swimming in a baby pool last weekend and really enjoyed it.
Then at the show there was small river (?) and he jumped in and got all muddy and gross
before he went in the ring:)

Hey Brandi,
Do you think this sleeping dog is contented?
Hello. All is very well with the puppy. She seems well adjusted, friendly to all, lets
everyone touch and hold her, licks and wags her tail much of the time. She is totally ok
going in the car and being in the carrier at restaurants (we are able to open a little
door so she can peek her head out, let us put our hands in to pet her and she never tries
to get out, either). Our little coconut is sweet and wonderful and each day she becomes
more inquisitive and playful. Seems her favorite game is chasing her tail and this makes
us laugh a lot! Mostly, she is just content to be held and carried around so we have to
remind ourselves to set her down often so she can get some exercise and so she doesn't
grow up too terribly spoiled. Our 16 yr old daughter loves her and this too is great.
Thank you for breeding such a wonderful companion for us.

Dear Brandi and Mike,
On April 8th I was 3 years old, Mom searched for the perfect cake and as you can see, she
found it. I only got a few licks, but they were great!!! Having already earned my Open
Standard agility title, I recently earned my Open Jumpers as well and that put us in
Excellent A for both Standard and Jumpers this past weekend - As for the Standard Run - I
only have one comment - I really do not like sitting on that dirty table, where every
other dog has sat - goodness knows what kind of germs there might be - I am sooooo good at
everything else - why does everyone get so worked up just because I won't get on that
filthy thing??? Aside from that little issue, my jumping was perfect and we earned 1st
place both days and 2 Q's - putting us close to our Excellent A title. We are going to
have a great summer and will be going to Perry, GA for a big Agility Trial in July.
Warm Regards to everyone

Hi Brandi and Mike,
Hope you all are doing well out that way...Nova is a beautiful girl, full of life and
highly intelligent, impetuous, tireless, gaurd dog & intsigator of all trouble in the
house. She is also kleptomaniac and hoarder. She is very spoiled and wants to play all the
time! Often dragging Lovey the pom by the tail all over the house and out the door to
play. She is truly a character! You ought to see how she walks..its a bossy kind of walk.
I visit at your site often to look at the other pap's.

Hey All!
I got to tell you this story. A little background is necessary. My Mom takes care of Bella
during the day and also helps us keep our house up so we can spend more time as a family
on the weekends. We are blessed to have her help. The other part to this story is the fact
that I can not live without lip balm. I have a tube in every room in our house. Bella
knows what "lip balm" means. Mom cleaned the coffee table one day last week. Mom
moved the tube to the nearby chair. Apparently, Bella saw it and took it into our bedroom
and probably put in under our bed. I came home that evening and needed my lip balm. I
asked my husband if he knew where my lip balm was and we started looking around the room.
I saw Bella leave the room but she came right back into the room with the lip balm in her
mouth (totally untouched) and looked up at me like, "here it is Mommy". We were
both so excited, that we started clapping our hands and singing her praises. She took off
running around the room and jumping up and down with excitement. That little dog loves to
be praised. We still can not believe that she knew exactly what we were talking about and
brought it to us even though we did not ask her if she took the lip balm.

B,
I have to take a second to brag on Trek and his Border Collie siblings. Now it's been
quite some time since I've done RallyO. This weekend, on a whim, I entered a Rally trial.
Wow was it fun! Trek earned his Level 1 title, Dera earned her Level 2 title and Flipside
earned his Level 1 Championship title. As a team we Q'd 12 out of our 14 runs, with Trek
taking the only perfect score of 210 for the weekend. You would have been laughing at our
darling boy. If there is a dog that thinks his you know what smells like roses and he
walks on water - it is Trekker when he's into rally obedience. Oh the strut on that dog
some days! I tease and call him Fabio when I put him down because before he will
participate in ANYTHING he must shake out his lovely locks, was the living end - but
that's what makes rally so much fun with him!"

Hope you and all your pack are well, and enjoying spring! Ranger goes out every day and
collects all the pollen tassels he can find just for me! He has put his winter coat away,

Hi Brandi,
Just wanted to update you on Dillon, aka Randy. He is about 16 months now and is the
greatest dog. He is spunky and very active, but he can be the sweetest couch companion
also. He keeps us entertained all the time, loves to fetch his toys and I think with the
right training he would be a great agility dog. He is fast as lightning. We have 3 young
hens now and he watches them and corrals them for us, he doesn't chase or bother them at
all. Everyone admires his huge fringed ears and flowing coat, and at only 16 months the
best is still to come. I noticed Spyder on your website, full brother to Dillon, right? I
see the resemblance in the face. I am attaching 2 pictures so you can see how beautiful he
is. I'll keep in touch!

Hi Brandi,
Hard to believe my baby is one year old already! She is just the best dog, so adventurous
and full of spunk! My friends tell me she has an attitude. She keeps things so much more
fun. We go to the park every day and she has so much fun chasing the squirrels and
rounding up the ducks. She loves the water too. She won't swim often (and when she does,
she quickly decides she's not so sure about it), but she wades in the lake and comes home
almost every day covered in mud as you can see. She and Summer are inseparable these days.
I think Summer is finally coming to love having a sister, even if she's an annoying little
sister. My camera broke so these pics are from when she was about 10-11 months. You should
see her now, she's growing a lot of fringe!

Hi Brandi,
Shamus wanted to show you his "big boy" hair in his ears. He is almost 8 months
old now and so delightful. He learns so quickly. His nickname is Famous Shamus -- because
the agility world is gonna sit up and take notice when he enters the ring. Zoom, Zoom,
Zoom! Because of his lightening speed and sparkling personality, we want his registered
name to be: Braylor's Lil Bottle Rocket. Shamus will be starting "doggie school"
in June and he can't wait.

Brandi,
I don't think I've ever told you, early on I taught Jazzy how to turn a lined sock inside
out with her mouth to get a treat out. She has since progressed and the most complicated I
do it now (takes too long to wrap it all up to do more), is to wrap treats up inside that
sock, inside some heavy homemade yarn socks and Kongs, put the heavy yarn socks inside
each other so she has to pull one from the other, and wrap all of that in a t-shirt, old
towel, and small fleece square really tightly. She can still finish opening all that up in
less than 5 minutes, sometimes 3 it seems. I've tried to start Danni on the easy lined
socks but she is an "eater" and after she tore one up, and seeing her progress
the same way if I put a Kong under a towel (eat her way through rather than search), I
quit. Just not likely to be Danni's thing to ferret out something without eating it
through. Ha! But instead I put her treats for this game into a smaller Kong and put big
treats she has to really work to get out. It achieves the same goal (time and effort).
Jazzy is just a Houdini on the sock thing!
take care,

Hi Brandi,
How ya doing? We are good! Getting ready to leave tomorrow for California. All the dogs
are getting excited? I think they know something is up with all the hubbub? Buddy has made
some real improvements these last couple months, Really maturing and we think he finally
found his place around here. This morning Buddy was accidently left outside alone in the
back yard for 15 minutes till it was discovered. Winston came and got me all worried. At
first we didnt know what the problem was, but then we figured it out we got
Buddy back inside to much excited hugs and kisses. Jim and I decided from this incident
that at last Buddy and Winston are brothers! Winston really DOES care .even though he
hides it well at times. I took these pictures last week. Not the best pixel quality, but
at least they are together in same frame. Tried to get Duchess in there too . but
guess having the 3 of them in one shot will have to wait for another day.
Talk to ya later.
4 paw hugs,

Brandi,
Thought you might enjoy these. Attached are pictures of our nursing home visitation for
the Seniors Adult/Pastoral Care joint ministry effort this morning. Jazzy and Danni were
the pilot for a dog therapy type visit to some of our homebound. So this
morning Jean and I visited two of our FBA members, Dot and Annelle in the same nursing
home. Annelle has been a member of FBA since 1956! The other residents thoroughly enjoyed
the dogs also as Dot was in physical therapy and Annelle was in one of the living rooms
when we found her So we did a floor show with both dogs doing tricks for them
all. I think 20-25 residents in all enjoyed the visits. Smiles were all around the rooms.
They all enjoyed Dot and Annelles four-legged visitors!

Hi Brandi,
I sent Katherine an e-mail regarding the play date and hope to hear from her real soon. We
live in Raleigh, NC but have a house at Myrtle Beach, SC. Ken and I are retired and we
come down here often as we have a yard to maintain down here. We travel with the dogs in
the back seat in their beds and Misha will just curl up and sleep all the way. She has the
cutiest personality and keeps us laughing all of the time. We are so happy with Misha and
would not trade her for the world. She weighs about 3 1/2 lbs but will stand up to Blitz
that is about 6 lbs. The weather here on Wednesday is supposed to be in the mid 70's. I am
so glad the cold winter is gone, I hope. Thanks again for your time. I know you are a busy
busy person with all of those beautiful Papillion's.

Hi Brandi,
Sorry it has taken us so long to give you an update on Julie, we have been dealing with
new jobs and new schedules recently. Julie has been an excellent addition to our family!
She and our other papillon Joy think they are sisters and our lab Bella is like a momma
dog to them both. The kids love playing with Julie because she is much more lovable and
less "wild" than Joy and will let them brush her and rub her belly. Here is a
picture of Joy and Julie resting together and the other is of our middle son Joshua, the
animal lover, with Julie. Oh, and we found out that Julie LOVES snow, it was too cute to
see her jumping around in it, all you could see were her ears and tail since she is mostly
white! Hope you are doing well and look forward to hearing from you soon!!
Blessings,

Hi Brandi,
From the first moment Pete arrived he was comfortable with my big dogs. Comfortable
without being pesty or trying to be bossy, which I think is not beyond possibility with
small dogs. Wednesday I took him to my agility class. A friend was holding his leash while
I ran. The worst possible thing happened which has never occured in this class-- a black
lab and a flat coat ret. got loose and started running madly around the ring. My dog had
just finished his run and decided to join in. I thought Pete would be terrorized.
Sometimes all it takes is one bad experience when they are young and you have problems
with other dogs forever. Pete was on the end of the leash and just quietly moved in to sit
next to, and kind of lean, on my friend. Watched the action with interest, not fear, but
also did not decide to do something stupid like join the chase. He is a very balanced,
together little fellow. One of my aussies is a Delta Society therapy dog. We visit a
nursing home a couple times a month. I can already see that Pete is going to be perfect
for that.
Thanks again,
Nancy

Hi Brandi,
Just wanted to let you know that Caleb (now Pete the Papillon--don't ask!) is just
incredbile! I could not be more pleased. He is smart as a whip, comfortable but not pesty
with my bigger dogs, pretty confident in new situations and when hesitant, adjusts
quickly, energetic, but cuddily. So much in such a small package! I do find the small size
kind of terrifying. He is so easy to step on! I was expecting the housetraining to be
extremely difficult based on all that I had heard about toy dogs, but he is as good as any
bigger pup I have had. I am totally in love. Thanks.

Brandi,
Icee is an awesome girl, and has been very busy exploring the house from one end to the
other. We showed her the back door, took her outside under very close supervision, and she
has already asked to go outside and go potti. You guys have done a wonderful job with her,
she has adapted to a new environment very quickly, is sweet, yet very self confident, what
a great little lady. I have no idea the effort it takes to train a champion, but have no
doubt she wowed the judges with her personality, her behavior, and her ability just to be
"her". We really do owe you the both of you so much, not just for the wonderful
two girls we now have, but also for the thought, the effort both of you took to make sure
we would end up with two great little girls. We know that it will take a little time for
Julie and Icee to mesh completely, but it's already obvious that their personalities will
work very well together.
Thank You so Much,

Hi Brandi,
Just got in from Fur Fun's Cocoa Classic flyball tournament. Keegan had an awesome
weekend. He was the full time height dog and had to run 8 races of 5 heats each. He ran
his heart out even pulling in his personal best of 7.8 seconds and earned his NAFA
FDCH--Gold (FDCH-G). He was also a crowd pleaser with his own fan club cheering him on. I
am so proud of my boy. He certainly loves his flyball and I love him for being him.

Chrissie was on the road traveling to our grandchilren's home in Chesapeake. On Chrissie's
birthday (the 25th), we shared the photos of her when she was born with the grandkids and
the pictures of her mom and dad. They thought that was amazing. Whatever you did, you
certainly imprinted her with love. It is what she is all about. We all thank you. Hope you
had a Merry Christmas! The snow is unbelieveable. Reminds me of Buffalo. Ice jams
continue. They are right this moment plowing our court for the first time. Amazing. Your
snow was beautiful, but I understand how Texas cannot support this weather. Here is

Hi Brandi and Mike,
Just wanted to give you an update on Blast at 5 months. He is super smart. He is already
house-trained, he rings a bell when he has to go. I can teach him anything with just a few
repetitions. But I have to be careful what I teach him. For example, I taught him to give
me his black or white paw but the command was really close to sit, so he starting sitting
and then throwing his paws at me. He makes me a better trainer, everything must be black
and white. He is currently working on crate games and jump grids. He understands that when
I touch the crate door he has to sit in the back of his crate until I release him. He is a
beautiful jumper probably b/c of his structure. He looks like he glides when he walks.
It's really quite pretty, I find myself just watching him walk. He did a small dogwalk
yesterday. He loves tunnels and is starting to really like the seesaw. Just so you know he
is a giant brat, he has to get his way. For example, Astro and Joule are quietly eating a
bone on the couch, Blast has a bone but he goes over to them and barks until he gets their
bone too. His best friend is Levi, a phalene, that is 3 weeks older than him. They play
for hours when Nancy and I get together. One day I'll have to video them, they are so
cute. Attached are some pictures of Blast.
Enjoy, Laura

have just had a Jedi sighting. We are so lucky to have Jedi and Carol volunteer their

Hi Brandi and Mike,
We wanted to give you an update on Shamus. He's been with us a little over a week now and
has settled in quite nicely. I cannot tell you how absolutely delightful he is....happy,
playful and definitely a cuddler. We have a very large backyard and Shamus loves to run at
full speed from one end of it to the other with his goldfish in his mouth -- and he is
FAST!!! He has staked out his own special place on the couch and loves to take naps
snuggled up next to you. We are so glad he is a member of our family. Here are some photos

Brandi,
Yes, I know I look a bit bored, its been a long weekend and I have stuffed myself with
treats - the smoked turkey was espically good!!! I have so many blue ribbons I don't know
where to put them all - My partner gets excited enough for both of us, jumping up and down
and hugging and kissing me to death at the end of each run. Well - what can I say - I even
correct for her mistakes - we got 3 Q's this weekend and we would have had 4 if a certain
person could learn how to execute a proper front cross. Well, she is practicing and
tomorrow is another day!!! We have 2 legs in Open Standard an 2 in Open JWW and we are
getting better and faster by the day. I am having a nice long rest today and expect some
homemade chicken soup tonight with lots of chicken!! Ahh - life is good.

Hi Brandi,
Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Life just keeps getting in the way. Officially
right now Keegan is Braylor's Playing with Fire OA OAJ FDCH-S CGC. Listing all the titles
he's earned it would read like this: Braylor's Playing with Fire OA OAJ NA NAJ FDCH-S FDCH
FDX FD CGC I am so proud of Keegan. One of the things I especially love about him is how
he doesn't let life pass him by. For example when it is mealtime, the Cavaliers and Carmen
are hovering around waiting to be feed. Not Keegan. He's off with his toy playing right up
to the time the bowls go down. That's when he comes. He's not giving up his precious
playtime just to wait to get fed.
Love my boy.
Thanks,
Teri

Brandi,
Apparently 31 degrees with snow up to the elbows can be fun for a Pap. The snow didn't
slow him down not one bit. What a dog - proving paps are much hardier than most people
might believe! I still can't get over how much fun he had out there today - you seriously
would have thought he was part husky or malamute! Just runnin' full speed, playing like it
was a summer day! I don't mean to 'gush' but I just love these pics from today with
Trek-trek...I mean really, could he be a cuter little thing? I'm so spoiled and so lucky!

Jazzy and Danni are doing great. Danni weight 6.7 lbs now and Jazzy 6.5. I have to watch
Danni or she tries to eat Jazzys food! She is a bit larger Pap and as my vet says
fuller figured than Jazzy but I try to keep close tabs on her eating as her
bone structure is more pettie than Jazzys (and I dont want her too heavy). We
still walk daily, just the cold has been rough here for us to get the major walks we like

enjoys curling up on the couch , by the fireplace, at night - I tell him he deserves to be
pampered after all his hard work and then he smiles at me!!!!
